Description
2010 was a pivotal year in the Anti-Whaling movement, as Bethune and Sea Shepherd found themselves embroiled in pitched battles against Japanese Whalers in some of the most treacherous waters on earth. This book follows on from Whale Warrior I, where Bethune boarded the Japanese Whaling Security Vessel in the middle of the night from a Jet-Ski. The Whalers decide to make a high-profile example of Bethune, taking him all the way back to Japan and locking him up in Japan’s toughest Remand Prison. Face to face with Japan’s worst criminals, Bethune goes on a dark journey of survival that ultimately sees him betrayed, and then fronting up to his accusers in a farcical court system that finds everyone guilty.
